The City of Helsinki gave a special welcome to Roschier Baltic Sea Race honoured guests, competitors, race organisers and volunteers. The Roschier Baltic Sea Race Helsinki Mayoral Reception was held at the City Hall, Helsinki. Located in the Kruununhaka district, overlooking Market Square, City Hall dates back to 1883.
Kirsi Remes, Administrative Director of the City of Helsinki welcomed guests to the prestigious reception. Speakers on the occasion were Kirsi Remes, Jeremy Wilton - RORC CEO, Outi Seppälä, Co-ordinator of the Baltic Sea Challenge and Ari Känsäkoski, Ocean Racing Alliance. Guests enjoyed complimentary drinks and a superb buffet of Finnish fayre.
